Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> has unleashed queer mayhem with her Rocky Horror<\/em><\/a>\u2013inspired new video, featuring the legendary Colman Domingo in drag.<\/p>\n

The second single from her seventh album Man\u2019s Best Friend<\/em>, ‘Tears’ is a glittering disco bop that, in classic Sabrina fashion, arrives with a cinematic visual that officially cements her status as *the* reigning pop video queen.<\/p>\n

Directed by Bardia Zeinali, the video follows Carpenter as she arrives at a creepy house in the middle of nowhere and finds herself surrounded by quirky, queer misfits \u2014 led by none other than Oscar nominee Colman Domingo, serving full Dr. Frank-N-Furter fantasy.<\/p>\n

The video unleashes a spectacle of drag queens and kings, chainsaw-wielding dolls, tallgrass pole dancing \u2014 and even a fierce dance break between Carpenter\u2019s Janet-inspired heroine and Domingo.<\/p>\n

In the finale, Carpenter discovers her heteronormative love interest has somehow survived, quipping, \u201cIt\u2019s a thing, someone has to die in every video,\u201d before finishing him off with a stiletto to the chest. Camp!<\/p>\n

Before the video dropped, Domingo hyped fans on Twitter\/X with<\/a>, \u201cAbout to break the internet. Tears. Protect all the Dolls.\u201d He later wrote: \u201cDidn\u2019t see that coming did ya? Thank you Sabs for inviting me to truly play.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carpenter also took to Instagram to gush over the Euphoria<\/em> icon, calling him \u201ctruly incomparable, magnetic and fantastic,\u201d before adding: \u201cWish we were still dancing in the street at 4am.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ‘Tears’ video was met with overwhelming praise from fans \u2013 particularly LGBTQIA+ people \u2013 with feedback ranging from “two icons, one masterpiece!<\/a>” to “best thing to happen to my eyes since Lasik<\/a>.”<\/p>\n
