Leo Woodall<\/a> has reflected on his breakout performance as Jack in The White Lotus<\/em><\/a>, as well as his character\u2019s \u201cshocking\u201d uncle-f**k.<\/p>\n

In an interview with The Telegraph<\/em>,<\/a> the British actor discussed all his recent projects, from his acclaimed (and soul-destroying) Netflix series One Day<\/em> to his Apple TV thriller Prime Target<\/em>, and the fourth Bridget Jones<\/em>, titled Mad About the Boy<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Woodall was also questioned about his role in The White Lotus<\/em>, particularly the scene in which he \u201cbared far more than his pumped-up pecs\u201d (we couldn\u2019t have written it better ourselves). The scene in question saw Jennifer Coolidge\u2019s iconic character Tanya McQuoid walk in on Quentin (Tom Hollander) being rear-ended by Jack.<\/p>\n

According to The Telegraph<\/em>, Woodall still finds the scene \u201cbrilliant\u201d and \u201chilarious\u201d, adding: \u201cI knew that it was a shocking moment, but I trusted [creator] Mike [White]\u2019s vision, I knew that it would work. And also, Tom Hollander is huge\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Noting the saucy connotations of his wording, Woodall rephrased it to: \u201cHe\u2019s a legendary actor.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the star can\u2019t recall how many times they had to shoot the scene, he does remember \u201cthe way they shot it – with the camera following Jennifer down the corridor and pushing through doors – meant there were points when it was just me and Tom having to be\u2026 in position.\u201d<\/p>\n

Woodall went on to praise intimacy coordinators, professionals who work with actors and film\/television productions to ensure that intimate scenes are safe and consensual.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really do think they\u2019re a good thing,\u201d he said. \u201cThey know when to get involved and when not to and what I really love about them is that when they come on set, they are probably the only person there who doesn\u2019t give a f**k about the production.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, they usually do end up caring of course, but basically their sole priority, their sole purpose, is you. Which is wonderful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following The White Lotus<\/em>, Woodall played another character of the queer experience in Prime Target<\/em>, which follows Edward Brooks, a math graduate who is \u201con the verge of a major breakthrough\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf he succeeds in finding a pattern in prime numbers, he will hold the key to every computer in the world,\u201d reads the synopsis.<\/p>\n

\u201cTogether, they start to unravel the troubling conspiracy Edward is at the heart of.\u201d<\/p>\n
