Ricky Martin’s latest thirst trap has left little to the imagination.

On 30 September, the music icon took to his Instagram Story to share a selfie with his 18.9 million followers.

In the snap, Martin flashes a cheeky smile as he poses in what looks to be a lavish bathroom. However, the most popular aspect of the photo is the beloved singer’s, err, shirtless appearance…

Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long for Martin’s steamy snapshot to appear on other social media platforms, such as X/Twitter, which resulted in a stream of thirsty reactions from fans.

“This man been fine my whole life,” one user commented, while another fan tweeted: “He bangs, he bangs!”

A third Ricky Martin enthusiast joked: “I HATE NDAs. But, I will sign.”

The Grammy winner’s recent shirtless story comes a few weeks after he broke the internet with his saucy pre-VMAs wardrobe malfunction.

On 7 September, Martin posted a carousel of behind-the-scenes images on Instagram as he prepared for the 2025 ceremony, where he was honoured with the inaugural Latin Icon Award.

The carousel ranges from Martin shirtless, trying to fix his trousers, to fully immersed in hair and makeup — wrapped only in a towel.

His caption read: “Lots of laughter, friends and even a little wardrobe malfunction (I can sew if need be by the way). Lots of make up and grooming and friends around!

“It’s gonna be a very special day. Thank you, @danielavesco, for documenting it all this morning. Don’t forget to watch @vmas tonight.”

In addition to receiving the Latin Icon Award at the 2025 VMAs, Martin performed a medley of his biggest hits, including international chart-toppers’ Livin’ la Vida Loca’ and ‘María’, as well as his Grammy-nominated collaboration with Maluma, ‘Vente Pa’ Ca’.

Since his 1991 debut, Martin has become one of the best-selling Latin artists of all time, moving over 70 million records and earning the title “King of Latin Pop.”

He has achieved 11 number-ones on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and won two Grammy Awards, five Latin Grammys, five VMAs, three Latin American Music Awards, and more.

As an actor, Martin received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Antonio D’Amico in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story (2018) and as Robert Diaz in Apple TV+’s period dramedy Palm Royale (2024–present), which returns for a second season this November.

Ricky Martin has shared some rather saucy snaps of a pre-VMAs wardrobe malfunction — and, naturally, the reaction was as thirst-filled as you’d expect.

On 7 September, the legendary singer posted a carousel of behind-the-scenes images on Instagram as he prepared for the 2025 ceremony, where he was honoured with the inaugural Latin Icon Award.

“It’s gonna be a very special day. Thank you @danielavesco for documenting it all this morning. Don’t forget to watch @vmas tonight.”

Drag Race icon Tatianna simply wrote, “Yes,” while other responses ranged from “Good lord, man, what is your secret?” to “Papi!”, as well as gifs of the thirsty variety – including one of Samantha Jones from Sex and the City gawking at a man in admiration.

Ricky Martin has doubled down on his foot fetish in a new interview.

Since hitting the scene in the late 90s, the ‘Livin’ la Vida Loca’ singer has won the hearts of pop culture enthusiasts.

While the openly gay singer has made a name for himself with his hit singles and record-breaking albums, Martin has also been praised by fans for being an open book about his life, including his fetishes.

In February 2024, the ‘Vente pa’ ca’ singer revealed his love of feet during an interview with GQ

“I have a foot thing. I love foot massages, and I would kiss your feet like crazy for hours. But we all have something. Some have a fetish for armpits,” he explained.

When asked if he posts his own feet on Instagram for his fans, Martin agreed with the publication, adding that some of his followers even draw art based on his photos.

“Let’s open the conversation! Let me like this comment that said, ‘I like your feet.’ I have fans that can draw my feet like a piece of art. They write to me: ‘Ricky, I can recognize your feet a mile away,'” he said.

Months after his unfiltered interview, Martin revisited the topic during his recent appearance on The View.

“We’re learning a lot about you. I heard you’re a foot fetishist,” Joy Behar asked the American Crime Story star.

In response, Martin said: “I love feet. I heard you have beautiful feet.”

After revealing that the entire View cast was on wikiFeet, the Palm Royale star expressed uncertainty about his feet being on the website.

“Mine, I don’t know. I’m a dancer, you know? But, some people like mine,” he added.

The ‘Tu recuerdo’ singer’s recent appearance on The View comes a month after he opened up about his sex symbol status during a chat for Interview Magazine.

“Now the sex symbol situation’s sometimes annoying because you say, “Yeah, I want people to take me seriously for my work, and my music, and for the parts that I do, and then you have my mom that tells me, “Ay, nene, please. Be proud of what you have, and everything will come afterwards. So I guess we can’t fight it. It is what it is.

And the perception, we throw something out there and the audience can make of it whatever they want.

Martin added: “And I guess fantasize about me however you want to. [Laughs] I really don’t mind.”

Ricky Martin has reflected on his status as a sex symbol and why he embraces being an object of desire for fans.

For the latest issue of Interview Magazinethe Latin icon spoke with Zoe Saldana about his early career, LGBTQIA+ rights and starring alongside Kristen Wiig in Apple TV’s dramedy miniseries Palm Royale.

After the Guardians of the Galaxy star asked Martin what he thinks the next “big battle” will be in the LGBTQIA+ rights movement, he highlighted how there’s been “solid steps, but there’s still so much hate out there”.

“The world is so divided, and unfortunately, people don’t let people live, and some people don’t let people be. And we just have to be proud, and loud—as any minority, not only the LGBTQ+ community, the Latin community, the African-American community,” he explained.

“We just have to hold our hands and grow, and walk through life with pride and honor, and educate ourselves about who we are, and what we’re made of, and what we need. Because we’re not asking to have more than others. We just want equality.”

Saldana continued to question Martin on his status as a sex symbol, and how his relationship with the label has changed over time. He reminisced on his stint in the Puerto Rican boy band Menudo (who are widely referred to as the most iconic Latino pop music band in history), for which he served as a member between 1984-1989.

“We were five teenagers—the more we moved, the more the girls would scream. And it was a competition. So even though we were brothers and we supported each other, every time we had a solo song, we had to show off,” he said.

“So we were trained to play with that sensuality at a young age. Adding to that, the fact that we’re from the Caribbean and there’s something in the water, there’s something in the air.”

Martin said the ‘sexiness’ of reggaeton, from the dancing to the merengue and the salsa, is “something that we can’t fight. We’re born with it, and we should not be afraid of it.

“Now the sex symbol situation’s sometimes annoying because you say, “Yeah, I want people to take me seriously for my work, and my music, and for the parts that I do,” and then you have my mom that tells me, “Ay, nene, please. Martin added: “And I guess fantasize about me however you want to. [Laughs] I really don’t mind.”

All 10 episodes of Palm Royale are streaming now on Apple TV.

Created by Abe Sylvia, the series is based on Juliet McDaniel’s 2018 novel Mr. & Mrs. American Pie. Set in 1969, Palm Royale follows “outsider” Maxine Simmons (Wiig) as she sets her sights on a place in Palm Beach high society via the town’s most exclusive resort club.

Martin plays Robert Diaz, the caregiver and pool boy to Normaa Dellacorte (Carol Burnett).

Since hitting the scene in the late 90s with his hit record ‘Livin’ la Vida Loca,’ the beloved talent has won the hearts of millions of music fans worldwide.

In addition to his hit singles and record-breaking albums, Martin has received praise for being an open book about his sexuality, since he came out as gay in 2010.

“Let’s open the conversation! Let me like this comment that said, ‘I like your feet.’ I have fans that can draw my feet like a piece of art. They write to me: ‘Ricky, I can recognize your feet a mile away,'” he said.

Shortly after Martin’s interview was released, fans flocked to social media to share their reactions to his foot fetish comments.

One X, formerly known as Twitter, user wrote: “He’s soooooo real for this.”

Another fan tweeted: “Celebrities: Sometimes, they’re just like us.”

An X user added: “This adds to my evidence that like 70% of men are into feet and just don’t say it.”

Martin’s foot fetish admission comes a few months after he returned to the dating market, following his divorce from Syrian-born Swedish painter Jwan Yosef.

“We have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children and honoring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years,” they revealed in a statement to PEOPLE in July 2023.

While the pair called it quits, the ‘She Bangs’ artist confirmed that they’re still friends during an additional interview with Hola!.

“When the public found out, we had already gone through the grieving process,” Martin explained.

“Jwan and I will always be family. We have two children that we are going to raise together, and this is not a recent decision. We have been planning this situation for a long time, it’s pre-pandemic.”

Although the 81st Golden Globe Awards may have failed to deliver on wins for queer storylines, there were still plenty of LGBTQIA+ moments to celebrate.

Taking place on 7 January at the Beverly Hilton, the ceremony was broadcast over three hours.

The night featured appearances from Euphoria’s Hunter Schafer, who took on presenting duties alongside This Is Us star Justin Hartley to present the award for Best Male Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Television Motion Picture.

The Golden Globes saw a mini reunion between the cast of Fellow Travelers and All of us Strangers with a twinning moment between Andrew Scott and Jonathan Bailey both in white ensembles. Bailey opted for Givenchy, whilst Scott scored in Valentino.

Fans were quick to react with Bailey trending as a hash tag on X (formerly Twitter): “Jonathan Bailey I wasn’t aware of your game I’m so sorry.”

Another added: “I just want to thank Jonathan Bailey’s parents for creating the most perfect man to ever grace this planet.”

‘What I Was Made For’ by Billie Eilish, from the Barbie soundtrack, was the winner of Best Song in a Motion Picture. The singer co-wrote the ballad with her frequent collaborator (and brother) Finneas O’Connell.

Ayo Edebiri won Best Television Female Actor in a Musical / Comedy series for The Bear, Lily Gladstone won Best Female Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for Killers of the Flower Moon, and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie was the inaugural winner of the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.

There were two big winners on the night with Oppenheimer and Succession scoring multiple wins including Best Drama TV Series.

Major nominations from LGBTQIA+ projects failed to convert into wins. One fan wrote: “Soo the Golden Globes snubbed Fellow Travelers, All of Us Strangers, Rustin, Matt Bomer, AND Colman Domingo. Queer stories just don’t matter to Hollywood, even in 2024.”

The awards have previously come under scrutiny for their lack of diversity. In 2021, a Los Angeles Times expose discovered that organisers of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) had no Black members voting for awards.

Alongside the announcement of nominees, it was revealed that nominations were created under new leadership with a voting body of 300 individuals from 75 different countries.

Fans were quick to react with an outpouring of support to the projects.

One fan said: “Shoutout to The Last of Us for being one of the absolute greatest video game to screen adaptations I have ever seen. That show… gosh, brilliant. It was so well casted and so well acted. Visually appealing and so beautiful. It was a tough category to win.”

Attention! The full list for the 2024 Golden Globes awards has been announced, with LGBTQIA+ actors and projects represented across a number of categories.

For his performance as Adam in All of Us Strangers, Andrew Scott has received his first film Golden Globes nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Drama Motion Picture. Up against Scott, Barry Keoghan and Colman Domingo have received nominations in the same category for their roles as Oliver Quick in Saltburn and Rustin in Rustin, respectively.

Matt Bomer has also received a nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for his role as Hawkins ‘Hawk’ Fuller’ in Fellow Travelers.

The Last of Us received three nominations including Best Drama TV series, Best Performance by a Male Actor in TV for Pedro Pascal, and Best Performance by a Female Actor in TV for Bella Ramsey, despite the young actor identifying as non-binary.

Elsewhere, Netflix’s NYAD received two nominations. The biopic of long distance lesbian swimmer Diana Nyad with Annette Bening in the title role and Jodie Foster playing Nyad’s coach, saw both receive acting nominations; Bening for Best Female Actor in a Drama Film and Foster for Best Female Supporting Actor.

Arguably the film of the summer, Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, scored nine nominations, the highest followed by their viewing rival, Oppenheimer with eight nominations. Barbie received nominations in multiple different categories, including Best Comedy Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Original song (‘Dance the Night Away’, ‘I’m Just Ken’ and ‘What Was I Made For’).

The awards show will also include two new categories, one for Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television and Cinematic and Box Office Achievement in Motion Pictures. The former saw LGBTQ+ trailblazer and comedian Wanda Sykes nominated.

With the awards having previously come under scrutiny for their lack of diversity, this year’s nominations were created under new leadership with a voting body of 300 individuals from 75 different countries.

The winners will be announced at the 81st ceremony on 7 January 2024 from the Beverly Hilton, with the three hour ceremony available to watch on CBS and streamed on Paramount+ and available on the CBS app.

Bad Bunny has addressed claims that he uses gender-queer fashion as a form of “queer-baiting”.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the Puerto Rican rapper and singer opened up about fashion and gender, revealing that his use of skirts and dresses in photoshoots and at events has resulted in an “endless number” of “sexist and homophobic” comments.

Bad Bunny acknowledged that he’s targeted “without being homosexual, for dressing like that”: “Maybe the queer person suffers more, but it is not like I put on a skirt and go out and they say ‘Look, how cool.’ They’re going to attack me with all their force anyway.”

The 29-year-old continued to stress: “You don’t know the reasons why a person is wearing that. You weren’t in his mind when he decided to put on a skirt or a blouse. You don’t know what’s inside him, what’s in his heart. You do it because you want to and it makes you feel good and it makes you feel happy.”

The most streamed artist of 2022 on Spotify, Bad Bunny has been outspoken about LGBTQ+ rights on various occasions throughout his career.

From shutting down homophobes on Twitter to donning full drag in his music videos, as well as raising awareness of violence against the trans community, Bad Bunny has consistently used his platform to show up for the LGBTQ+ community.

As a result of his activism, Bad Bunny received the Vanguard Award at the 34th GLAAD Media Awards. Ricky Martin, who presented him with the honour, hailed him as an “icon for the Latin queer community”.

“Thank you to the whole LGBTQ community for embracing me; for loving me the way they do and for looking up to me,” Bad Bunny said in his speech.

“I believe that following my heart has brought me to where I am; following my heart has brought me here receiving this award, surrounded by such beautiful people. I believe that when you have a good heart and you give love, that’s what you receive back.

“That’s what I’ve wanted to do all this time with my music. When you act in good faith and with your heart, that’s what happens: you’re brought to beautiful places, in front of beautiful people and I’m grateful for where I am. I’m grateful for the people that love me today.”

Later this year, Bad Bunny will star in Cassandro, Prime Video’s biopic about Saúl Armendáriz, aka Cassandro (played by Gael García Bernal), the first openly gay wrestler in Mexico’s Lucha Lubre.

Also starring Roberta Colindrez, Perla De La Rosa, Joaquín Cosío, Raúl Castillo and El Hijo del Santo, Bad Bunny will play Bernal’s on-screen love interest Felipe.

Back in April, the star said it was “cabrón” [translated to “badass”] for his first kiss in a movie to be with a man. Speaking with Time Magazine, he joked: “That’s the penalty I get for being with so many women during my life. If you’re acting, you’re being someone you’re not. That’s the fun part.

“So when they asked me for that, I said, ‘Yes, I’m here for whatever you want.’ I think it was very cool; I didn’t feel uncomfortable. It’s part of acting. It’s part of what I’m doing.”

Since its first screening at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, the wrestling biopic has earned rave reviews from critics.

Ahead of its release this Friday (22 September), Prime Video dropped a new set of clips – including a steamy moment between Bernal and Bad Bunny’s characters.
